  • Coordinates admissions to the Plant Sciences Doctoral Subprogram
  • Coordinates First Level Exam
  • General Program planning
  • Chair of the Plant Sciences Advisory Committee which deals with exams, admissions to the doctoral program, faculty membership.
  • Member of the Executive Committee of the Biology PhD Program
  • Coordinates plant sciences program activities on a CUNY-wide basis.
Graduate Deputy Chair Dr. Dwight Kincaid
  • The administrative connection between the doctoral student and the university. See the Graduate Deputy Chair for advice and signing of forms. 
  • Each CUNY campus that participates in the Biology Doctoral Program has their own Graduate Deputy Chair to advise students on the campus.
  • Member of the Executive Committee of the Biology PhD Program
Director of Graduate Studies, CUNY-NYBG Dr. Larry Kelly
  • Liaison with the CUNY Plant Sciences Advisory Committee, Plant Sciences Chair, and the Lehman Graduate Deputy Chair
