Pilates

PILATES improves core strength and balances the muscles around the joints, improving the way your body functions, looks and feels. Join up for our offering of a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to Joseph Pilates' original exercise method. This method takes the best of Pilates exercises and safely delivers it for a strength, endurance and flexibility program that works for everyone. This stress relieving method are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. We will place more emphasis on preparatory exercises and modifications to make the method safer and more effective. You can expect an increase in flexibility, mobility, balance, and body awareness, as well as a decrease in back pain/other general pains.

Instructor: Jeanette Palmer, thirty years teaching experience in the field of movement, dance and fitness; studied IM=X Pilates first hand from the creator of the method.
