Anna received her BA in Literature from Bard College in 2002, with a minor in Spanish. Her Senior Thesis was titled "Coming of Age on the United States-Mexico Border." She received her MA in Comparative Literature at CUNY Graduate Center in 2006, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Comparative Literature from the same. Her dissertation topic is "The Writer as Character in the Contemporary Latin American Novel." She currently teaches Elementary Spanish at York College.
