Courses Taught
Italian 111 and 112, Queens College. These two courses focus upon an intense and in-depth study of Italian language and grammar. Cultural activities and regional studies are emphasized. Coursework is based upon the textbook Ciao!; Carla Federici and Carla Riga.
Honors in the Humanities, Queens College. An interdisciplinary course for pre-college students which focuses upon the great works of Western literature. Taught in tandem with an instructor from Townsend Harris High School, the course emphasizes consistent class participation and rigorous written work. Speaking Freely at New York University. This course emphasizes the appropriation of a foreign language in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Students attend classes on a voluntary basis, and coursework stresses a rapid appropriation of the language. Prior to completion, students utilize newly learned language skills in a program-based cultural excursion. Text: Prego!
