Pamela Albanese is a doctoral candidate in Comparative Literature at The Graduate Center and a technology fellow at Hunter College. Her dissertation, A Critical and Cultural Poetics of the End: Self, Space, and Volatility in Los Angeles, explores intersections between self and place in literary and cinematic representations of Los Angeles. She taught at Hunter from 2003-2006 and worked as a writing fellow at Brooklyn College and CUNY Law from 2006-2008. She holds a B.A. in Literature from Bard College and previously worked as a web designer and a freelance writer.
