Professor Fish’s research and publications focus on enhancing the quality of the lives of children and families through effective assessment and intervention in schools using an ecological orientation.  Her work addresses classroom and school environments, family-school relationships, systemic interventions in schools, and equity issues in the schools.  Professor Fish is the recipient of an award for her research on the development of the Classroom Systems Observation Scale, a classroom observation instrument based on systems theory. Professor Fish is a Fellow of Division 16 (School Psychology) of the American Psychological Association. Areas of Specialization
