EUROPA - The official Web Server of the European Union.

EUR-Lex provides free public access to issues of the Official Journal of the European Communities (both L and C series) published in the last twenty days, the Treaties, consolidated versions of existing legislation and recent judgments by the Court of Justice.

ECLAS - European Commission Library Catalogue. It provides bibliographical references to the library's acquisitions, the Union's official publications and documentation, publications and documents of many intergovernmental, commercial, academic and government presses, and selected journal articles of lasting interest.

SCAD PLUS: European Union Policies is a database where you will find a presentation of the Commission's proposals with details of their progress up to their final adoption for all the policy areas listed. Further information is provided in background notes, which help to explain the development and the future prospects of legislative work relating to Community policies (in all Community laguages).

RAPID is a database giving a daily view of the activities of the European Union as presented by the Institutions in their press release. A password is required to enter RAPID. If you do not already have a username and password, you can use the username guest with password guest. It is also very interesting the MIDDAY EXPRESS, the news from the Spokesman's midday briefing (in EN and FR).

The Bulletin of the European Union reports on the activities of the Commission and the other Community institutions. It is produced by the Secretariat-General of the European Commission and published 10 times a year in the official European languages.

CORDIS is a Community Research and Development Information Service. It provides information on a vast range of reserach, development and innovation activities undertaken on a European level (in EN, FR, GE, IT and SP).

EUROSTAT is the "Statistical Office of the European Communities" which uses uniform rules to collect all statistical data from the National Statistical Institutes of each of 15 Members States of the European Union. You can find databases available for each 7 statistical themes covered by Eurostat.

EURISTOTE contains more than 22.000 references to university research (such as doctoral theses and post-doctoral research) currently being carried out or completed since 1960 in over 350 universities in Europe and the rest of the world on the topic of European integration.

EUROTEXT is a Resource Bank of Learning Materials on Europe where you can have access to the full text of key documents on a wide range of topics (in EN).

IDEA is the electronic representation of the Interistitutional directory of the European Union, which display the organigramms of the different European institutions. For the time being, IDEA provides information in German, English and French.

EuroInternet - Information Resources Related to European Integration in the Internet - provides you with the ultimative collection of internet resources for all issues concerning the integration of Europe.

WWW Virtual Library -  West European Studies Home page of the University of Pittsburgh offers many helpful links and a set of European Union Research Guides.

European Union Internet Resources on the University of California-Berkeley Library Web has a collection of links to EU institutions, agencies and bodies.
