with David Thomson, film critic, biographer, novelist, and author of 

THE NEW BIOGRAPHICAL DICTIONARY OF FILM (Knopf)

Thomson's new book is a revised version of a highly personal reference work, first published in 1975, that has been a treasured resource for film buffs and film scholars ever since. The discussion will be hosted by Morris Dickstein, Acting Coordinatorof the Certificate Program in Film Studies at the Graduate Center. Copies of the book will be available.

Free and open to the public.
