- Michael Latour completed the Human Rights curricular option through an eight month internship with the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help in Djibouti, East Africa. Michael worked as a teacher trainer as well as a curriculum developer for the Ministère de l'Education Nationale et de l'Enseignement Supérieur de Djibouti. His journey abroad brought him to Ethiopia, Yemen, the United Arab Emirates, and all the way to India. During his travels, Michael witnessed many human rights violations and came back to the United States with a better understanding of the needs of his field.
