Description:
The Office of Human Resources (“OHR”) is seeking part-time assistance with the implementation of a records management conversion project. The College Assistant, under the oversight of OHR personnel, will be responsible for a daily operation of the maintenance of the security of personnel files, the scanning equipment and confidential handling of personnel files ensuring accurate labeling. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Scanning and transferring college records to electronic files and other records
- Security, handling, and storage of college records
- Handling and securing of scanning device
- Filing and records management tracking
- Administrative support for the records tracking system
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree preferred; Baccalaureate Degree highly desired
- Experience with record creation, especially electronic records is preferable
- Computer proficiency essential
- Ability to maintain confidentiality a must; attention to details critical
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-based environment highly desirable
- Professional attitude, punctuality and ability to adjust to changing work priorities
- Ability to prioritize and meet goals and deadlines; excellent organizational skills
- Ability to understand and follow internal policies and procedures
Salary Range: $21.00 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week
