Supporting the Kripke
Center
The Kripke Center Fund
The Kripke
Center Fund finances the Meyer Kripke Fellowships, awarded each
year to an exceptionally promising incoming graduate student interested in pursuing doctoral work in areas of
Professor Kripke's interest. It is also used to preserve and digitize the Kripke Archive, making Professor Kripke's
unpublished works more readily available to scholars. The archive contains a wealth of material dating back to the 1950's. This includes
letters, recordings, transcriptions, notes and manuscripts. While some of this material amplifies and modifies his published views, other material
-- for example, on identity through time, de re attitudes towards numbers and the nature of logic -- breaks entirely new ground.
The fund is also used to sponsor conferences, colloquia and "brown bag lunches" devoted to the
examination of Kripke's work.
