Dear all,
The next TC session will be on HPSG!! This is a theory that is used in much psycholinguistic, computational and theoretical work, and we think it would be good for all of us to get familiarized with it in order to be able to handle papers written within this framework.
Our discussion will be focused on the way HPSG deals with locality phenomena. This seems an interesting topic to compare this theory with the more familiar GB/Minimalist framework. Attached to this email are two papers that you might want to read in preparation for the TC session. The first attachment presents the general framework, while the second is more focused on locality. If you wish to look at more papers, this is a good link!
