JAN STENZEL is the Director of Administration for the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center and is responsible for the day to day running of the Center. Working closely with the Director of Programs, she schedules the events, coordinates all the production elements for performances in the theatre and is the liaison between the presenters and the CUNY Graduate Center. She also oversees the publication of theatre journals Slavic and East European Performance, Western European Performance and The Journal of American Drama and Theatre published three times a year.

Ms. Stenzel has a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Drama from Ithaca College. Prior to joining the CUNY Graduate Center she was Director of Programs and Special Events for the American Theatre Wing. She administered all of the Wing’s fund-raising events and served as a producer of the Wing’s televised “Working in the Theatre” seminars videotaped at CUNY TV. As a free lance meeting and event planner, she worked with The League of American Theatres and Producers, the Tony Awards and Jeff Martin Events and Entertainment.
