David Willinger, Professor on the Theatre faculty at City College and the Graduate Center, CUNY, has previously edited An Anthology of Contemporary Belgian Plays, 1970-1982, Theatrical Gestures of Belgian Modernism, an anthology of plays by Hugo Claus, Three Fin-de-Siecle Farces, and an anthology of plays by Michel de Ghelderode. He has won a Fulbright Research Grant and The Translation Center Award for The Temptation, two NEAGrants, 4 Jerome Foundation Awards, Prix de Rayonnement de Lettres a L'Etranger by the Belgian Ministry of Culture. He is also a professional director and playwright.
