organization and function of the nervous system, approached
from molecular, cellular, systems and behavioral perspectives.
Areas of research include molecular genetics of development,
neurotransmitters and signal transduction, learning, neuroethology,
neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the visual and somatosensory
systems, oculomotor control, pain, neuroendocrine control
of reproduction, neuroanatomy of brain disorders, stress-induced
hypertension.
Faculty include members of the staff of the Institute
for Basic Research in
Developmental Disabilities.
