Call for Papers

The Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York is announcing a call for papers for the Eleventh Annual Graduate Student Philosophy Conference. The conference will be held at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City on Friday and Saturday, March 28th and 29th, 2008.

Friday Keynote: Stephen Neale (CUNY Graduate Center)

Saturday Keynote: Achille Varzi (Columbia University)

The conference invites paper submissions from graduate students in all areas of philosophy.

Papers should be about 15 pages in length. Please include 3 copies of each paper, suitable for blind review. Papers should have a detachable cover page with the author's name, address, school, and email. Please include a brief abstract of the paper on a separate sheet.

Submission Deadline: January 26, 2008.

Papers may be submitted electronically to the address below as a .ps, .txt, .doc, .pdf, or .wpd attachment. Please use the subject heading "Conference Submission".

The conference organizers will arrange accommodations with graduate students at the CUNY Graduate Center for visiting participants. Since spring is a particularly lovely season in New York City, the conference organizers will arrange accommodations for speakers who wish to stay through the weekend.
