Kathe Newman, Assistant Professor in the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and graduate of the Political Science program at the CUNY Graduate Center

Kathe Newman has conducted research on gentrification and displacement, urban revitalization and civic engagement in Camden, community development, housing mortgage finance, and participatory GIS (PPGIS).

Professor Irma Serrano-García, Professor of Psychology, University of Puerto-Rico, will present a talk on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 4:15-5:45 in Room 8201.01 (President's large conference room).

Tentative: this week's program meeting will consist of a field trip to the project for Public Spaces to learn more about their work.  This event will probably take place on Tuesday, March 11.

Executive Committee meeting: everyone is welcome to attend the executive committee meeting and to bring issues of importance/concern to the attention of the committee.

Tentative: Environmental Psychology students who are teaching fellows and adjuncts will participate in a panel discussion on teaching, covering topics like integrating their fellowship duties in the classroom, bringing ecological theory into undergraduate courses in other fields, pedagogy, and more.
