Global Governance provides a much-needed forum for practitioners and academics who want to explore the impact of international institutions and multilateral processes on economic development, peace and security, human rights, and preservation of the environment.
Published in association with
Lynne Rienner Publishers, the
Academic Council on the United Nations, and the United Nations University, this scholarly and policy-relevant journal was established in 1994 to probe the role of international institutions in world politics. The editorial offices are at the University of Warwick under the direction of Jan Aart Scholte and Diane Stone as well as at the University of Victoria under the direction of Barry Carin and Gordon Smith.
From 2000 to 2005, one of the editorial offices of Global Governance was based at the Ralph Bunche Institute, with Professor Thomas G. Weiss as editor, along with S. Neil MacFarlane of Oxford University and W. Andy Knight of the University of Alberta.
