The participating colleges and four world-renowned affiliated institutions of the CUNY doctoral science consortium offer a unique combination of wide-ranging research possibilities and focused areas of concentration. The Graduate Center is the "home" for doctoral students, the college campuses and affiliated institutions house the research faculty and their laboratories, and the legendary academic and cultural institutions of New York are the backdrop of the university system. The Graduate Center has a number of programs to support students from under-represented groups and strongly encourages prospective students to investigate these opportunities. The Office of Educational Opportunity and Diversity Programs can provide information about the range of support options.
