Science @ Queens College
Queens College is home to outstanding faculty and students in the doctoral programs in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics. Situated on a beautiful 77 acre campus, with ready access to Manhattan and to the bustling communities of Flushing and Forest Hills, the campus houses numerous modern laboratories and support facilities for these programs. Many doctoral candidates also perform research at national laboratories, and benefit from interactions with exceptional earth science, neuroscience, and mathematics programs on the campus. Students have the opportunity to teach in a welcoming environment with support from the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Writing Center, and departmental programs.
