Students will learn to critically evaluate research within the context of designing an original study in speech-language-hearing science.  Students will be guided in formulating a research question, choosing a research design with appropriate stimulus materials and procedures, and selecting the appropriate non-parametric or parametric statistical tests to evaluate outcomes. The final project will consist of an oral presentation and a written research proposal with an accompanying Institutional Review Board application.
