Current research into the structural and functional evolution and embryology of the auditory system will be undertaken. It will involve a detailed and integrated introduction to the behavioral, anatomical, and physiological changes that occur in the auditory system throughout evolution and during developments. Where appropriate, disorders of the auditory system are introduced to assist understanding of normal processes. The course will be instructed around the interests of the participants.
