This seminar focuses on current models of the development of speech perception from infancy through early childhood. The role of speech perception in acquiring the lexicon and grammar will be considered. Evidence from behavioral, neurobiological and clinical investigations will be used to evaluate the models and to propose future directions for research (cross-linked with LING79400).
