This course covers recent theoretical and empirical advances in phonological acquisition and language disorders in children. Emphasis is on the application of linguistic theory to the description and explanation of developmental phonological disorders, critical evaluation of the literature and on the empirical approaches to the investigation of developmental phonological disorders.
