These awards are available for women of any nationality in aerospace-related science and aerospace-related engineering. The scholarship award of US$6,000 may be used for tuition, books and fees, or living expenses. The award may be used at any university or college offering accredited graduate courses and degrees in aerospace studies. All applications, recommendations, transcripts, and graduate acceptance or letter of current standing must be received or post-marked by 15 November to be considered. 1. Amelia Earhart Fellowship Program. For women of any nationality who have completed their bachelors degree and that provide evidence of a well=defined research program in space-related science or engineering. The scholarship award is $6,000. Deadline is November 15.
2. Jane M. Klausman Women In Business Scholarship Program. Women of any nationality pursuing undergraduate business degrees who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field are eligible. The scholarship award of US$4,000 may be used for tuition, books or living expenses at any university, college or institution offering accredited business courses and degrees. Deadline is May 31.
3. Michael J. Freeman Scholarships for Irish Women Program. Scholarships are exclusively for Irish women pursuing studies in Ireland.
4. Young Women in Public Affairs Program Pre-university or pre-college women students (ages 16-20) at the time of the International recipients selection (30 June) are eligible to apply. District award recipients receive US$500 from the Zonta International Foundation YWPA Fund. Districts may choose to add to this award amount. International award recipients are selected from District Recipients and receive US$1,000.
