From Crisis to What? Recent Changes in Argentina's Politics
Giorgio Alberti
Professor of Political Science, University of Bologna (Italy)
Dr. Alberti is professor of Theory of Political Development
at Universitá degli Studi di Bologna (Italy) and the Director
of the Buenos Aires Center of the same university offering a Master's
Program in "International Relations: The European Union and Latin
America". He was co-director of the Cornell-IEP(Lima) project on
Study of Change in Peruvian Villages and has been visiting professor
at Columbia, Cornell and Universidad Católica de Lima. He has
taught "Political Modernization in Latin America" at the Bologna
Center of the Johns Hopkins University" for twenty years, and has
written extensively on peasant movements, agrarian reform, organization
of industrial interests and theoretical issues in the study of democratization
in Latin America.
