SEMINARS AND COLLOQUIA
Participation in university, departmental, and research
seminars is an integral part of doctoral training at the
City University. The university-wide biochemistry colloquia,
special mini-symposia, and the departmental seminars at
each campus offer students in biochemistry the opportunity
to attend lectures by leading biochemists on a wide range
of topics. In addition, students may attend special lectures
and symposia at other major universities in the New York City area, as
well as institutions such as the New
York Academy of Sciences, the New
York Section of the American Chemical Society, the
New York Metropolitan
Chapter of the
Association for Women in Science, the
New York
Structural Genomics Research Consortium, and the
New York Structural Biology
Center.

The Annual Science, Engineering, and
Mathematics Celebration
Doctoral students in the science, engineering and
mathematics programs are invited to present their research
work as a poster presentation at this annual celebration. An
invited speaker presents the Annual Distinguished Lecture.
