FUNDING
Financial assistance is available to doctoral students at the CUNY Graduate Center through a program of fellowships (both service-connected and non-service connected), grants, assistantships, trainee-ships, part-time teaching positions, loans, and college work study assignments.

Most students in the Biochemistry Ph.D. program are supported by teaching assistantships. The participating colleges make teaching assignments after student admission into the program has been granted. Advanced graduate students are often supported by research grants through their mentor or by institutional or external fellowships.

For more information on financial aid available through the University, see the Office of Financial Aid web site.
