Faculty from throughout the CUNY system with distinguished publication records are invited to join the doctoral faculty. The doctoral faculty in business, drawn largely from Baruch's Graduate Faculty, is top-notch, with strong academic credentials and ties to New York's business, financial, and educational communities. All share a commitment to research and doctoral education. Baruch's recently retired Harry Markowitz held the Marvin M. Speiser Professorship of Finance and Economics when he earned the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
