Health Care Environments Past research has focused on the programming and evaluation of hospital environments in order to improve design. CERG is now concerned with building theory on what constitutes a "healing environment" for children and how to use a broader conception of health and well-being to create better guidelines for the planning and design of health care environments. This effort is being led by Fiona de Vos (link here) who has many years of experience working in the research and design of health and play environments for children.
