Kimberly Libman
 

Kimberly is a Doctoral student in the Environmental Psychology Program at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She is
interested in children's participation in urban agriculture and greening as well
as,nutrition, urban health and food security. Currently she is
collaborating with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on qualitative research investigating the way underprivileged children value, use, think, and feel about the vegetables they grow. Her undergraduate studies were conducted at the New School for Social Research in the fields of Science, Technology, and Society, and Education Studies. Her previous work WAS in teaching and coordinating science-based horticultural programs.
