The Chilltown Researchers are a group of students at Snyder High School in Jersey City, NJ who have been working with Jennifer Ayala, Assistant Professor of Education at St. Peter's College, and Sweety Patel, Guidance Counselor and Student Advisor at Snyder.

Here's the goal of their research group, as presented on their website:

"OUR AIM IS TO UNDERSTAND HOW DIFFERENT PEOPLE VIEW OUR SCHOOL AND ITS IMMEDIATE SURROUNDINGS AND WHAT ROLE ISSUES LIKE RACISM, HOME/SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT, TEACHER-STUDENT RELATIONSHIPS, MEDIA COVERAGE AND MORE PLAY IN OUR HIGH SCHOOL’S IMAGE."
