With issues in January and June, CLAGSnews continues to grow both in content and reach. We have instituted regular sections like News from CLAGS, News from Beyond, a Pedagogy Page, and our annual Kessler Excerpt section. And, apart from articles contributed from CLAGS members, we continue to print updated information about our fellowships and awards, coming course listings for the Graduate Center’s Interdisciplinary Concentration in Lesbian and Gay/Queer Studies, our calendar of public programs, and, among other things, instructions on how to join any number of email listservs that CLAGS moderates. CLAGSnews reaches more than 4,500 LGTBQ researchers, scholars and community members with each publication. Advertising things of relevance to our members, such as recent LGTBQ publications, upcoming events and conferences, is a wonderful way to reach our constituents and show support for our organization. Advertising Rates 2007-2008
  • Full Page (7 1/2" wide x 10" tall): $1,000
  • Half Page (7 1/2" wide x 5" tall): $500
  • Quarter Page (3 3/4" wide x 5" tall): $250
  • Eighth Page (3 3/4" wide x 2" tall): $175
  • Discounted advertising rates are available for multipule runs in forthcoming issues of CLAGSnews.

    • All ads will be black and white. Deadline for Winter issue is December 10 and deadline for the Spring issue is May 1 for all materials to be received in the CLAGS office. Please mail all ads as Quark files, Illustrator EPS files, or Acrobat PDF files electronically to clags@gc.cuny.edu. For submissions in other formats, call the CLAGS office at 212-817-1955.
