Marisa Giorgi

Marisa Giorgi is a doctoral student in Comparative Literature with a Specialization in Italian at the Graduate Center, City University New York. She completed her B.A. in Italian Language and Culture with a minor in Art History from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. In 2004 she received her M.A. in Italian Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. She wrote her Master’s thesis on Elsa Morante’s La Storia. Her interests include Fascism, representations and narrations of World War II and the fascist culture from a post-war/post-fascist perspective and the representation of historical events within the 20th century narrative.
