TEST REQUIREMENTS

The aptitude portion of the Graduate Record Examination is required of all applicants, and is an important factor in decisions about admission. However, applicants whose scores are problematic may be considered if they provide other evidence of exceptional academic potential. Please remember that our application deadline is January 15th, and plan your GRE test-taking date accordingly, as we must receive your test scores by our deadline. The code for reporting scores from the GRE to the Graduate Center is 2113.

International students whose native language is not English or who have not completed their undergraduate education in the United States or in another country where the native language is English Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
