CPE (CUNY Proficiency Exam)

All students are required to pass the CUNY Proficiency Examination by the time they complete 60 credits. The exam has two parts: Analytical Reading/Writing and Analyzing/ Integrating Material from Graphs and Text. You may take the exam up to three times. If you have not been contacted by your home college to schedule taking this test and you are approaching or have exceeded 60 college credits, (based on your CUNY BA/BS Program or home college transcript, whichever indicates more credits) contact the Testing or Academic Affairs office at your home college immediately.
