Mona Hadler
Professor of 19th- and 20th-Century European and American Painting and Sculpture

Professor Mona Hadler is also on the faculty at Brooklyn College. She has written on various Abstract Expressionist painters and sculptors including William Baziotes, Davis Hare, Ethel Schwabacher, and has more recently focused on the work of Lee Bontecou. Her other interests include articles on the relation of jazz and the visual arts and research into the postwar artistic response to nuclear explosions.

Co-editor, Art Journal, Winter 1994 issue on postwar sculpture.
