Fellows

  • Kathleen Waldron is a University Professor at the City University of New York. She was President of Baruch College of the City University of New York. Dr. Waldron served as President from 2004 to 2009. She led the College to achieve national rankings in its business and public affairs programs and a place in The Princeton Review’s list of the top ten percent of colleges in the country. Prior to joining Baruch College, Dr. Waldron was Dean of the School of Business, Public Administration and Information Systems at Long Island University from 1998 to 2004 and from 1984 to 1998 served in various managerial positions at Citigroup, including head of strategic planning for the Global Wealth Management Division. She holds a doctorate in Latin American history from Indiana University and was a Fulbright Scholar in Caracas, Venezuela in 1980-81. Dr. Waldron is a member of the Tinker Foundation Board of Directors; a member of the Association for a Better New York Steering Committee; and a member of the Commission on International Initiatives of the American Council on Education.  Dr. Waldron has lived and traveled extensively in Latin America.
