Kate Pourier
Kate Poirier is a third-year doctoral student in mathematics at the Graduate School of the City University of New York. In 2002, she completed her B. Sc. and in 2003 she completed her M. Sc. Both are in mathematics from the University of Toronto. Her research interest is in algebraic topology. She has worked as a teaching assistant for calculus and linear algebra courses at the University of Toronto and as a lecturer for algebra, pre-calculus and calculus courses at Baruch College in New York. Kate is a Calculus fellow at Kennedy and Truman High Schools.
