TThe
Tenth Annual CUNY/SUNY/NYU/YU Miniconference on Linguistics is a conference
organized by students, featuring the faculty and student speakers selected
from each of four schools: The Graduate Center of the City of New
York, The State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York University, and, new in 2008, Yale University.
The scope of the conference includes all areas of
both theoretical and applied linguistics, with presentations
chosen to reflect the wide range of linguistic studies currently undertaken
in the New York area.

is scheduled to begin at 10:30am. The complete program will be made available
in October. The deadline for abstract submission is October 17,
