The Pietro Deiro Section 

The Pietro Deiro Section of the Deiro Archive was donated to The Center for the Study of Free-Reed Instruments, The Graduate Center, The City University of New, by  Ms. Sandra Cattani, granddaughter of Pietro Deiro and daughter of Pietro (“Lee”) Deiro, Jr., in December 2004. 

The Archive consists of memorabilia pertaining to the life and career of Pietro Deiro (and to a lesser extent of Pietro Jr.)  The collection is divided into two parts, recordings (catalogued by Mr. Paul De Silva) and printed material (catalogued by Mr. Alan Richtmyer).
