Since September, 2001 Dr. Borrachero has been Asistant Professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at the University of San Francisco. Before coming to the University of San Francisco in 2001, she was Visiting Professor at Bard College (New York) for two years. At USF, she teaches all levels of Spanish language, women's writing in the Hispanic world, and introductory and advanced courses in Latin American literature and culture. Her theoretical and critical work ranges from XVII century women writers of Spain and Latin America to present debates on feminist literary theory and gender studies.
