Dr. Demetriou came to City College in 1997 from Queens College where she served as Director of Cooperative Education and Internships. She also worked at York College and Montclair State University as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Spanish Language and Literature. As director of The Career Center at the CityCollege, Dr. Demetriou has developed a client base of over 500 companies in the private, public, and non profit sectors and has integrated career services into a comprehensive career development system.
