Dr. Fabre is associate professor of Spanish language and literature at Ramapo College of New Jersey, School of American and International Studies. In March 2005 she presented "Culture and Society: The Black Women of Ecuador" at the African Studies, Popular Culture Association conference held in San Diego. She also received a Special Recognition Award from the Office of Student Activities "for years of outstanding dedication and service to the Latino community."
