Dr. Maduro is an Assistant Professor at William Paterson University, New Jersey, Department of Languages and Cultures. She is a specialist on Puerto Rican, Caribbean and Latin American Literature. Her research focuses on issues of nation building creation of national identity in Latin American cultural productions. She currently teaches courses in Language and Latin American Literature.
