Log in Instructions
Before using Internet Native Banner (INB) make sure the following are true -
- Pop-up blocker is disabled for this web site.
- Under Internet Explorer properties Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced TAB -> Reuse Windows for launching Shortcut is NOT checked.
- Use the link PROD to access Banner.
- When you visit the above link for the first time, it prompts you to install Java. If you are not able to install Java, please email/call the Helpdesk at Helpdesk@gc.cuny.edu or 7300.
1. Click on the URL for PROD to access Banner. You may add it to your favorites for subsequent use.
2. Enter your new Banner username just created and the default password. Leave the database field blank.
3. Banner will pop the message the “the password has expired”. Just click OK
Next window will ask for -
- Old Password:
(default password that was used for the first time login) - New Password:
type in new password - Retype New Password:
type new password again
Your new password will be valid for 180 days. After 180 days you will be prompted to enter a new password. Your new password must be minimum 8 characters in length, must contain a numeric character (1-9), and must contain a punctuation mark except these (@ $ & " ( ) , <>` ; = #). Your Banner password is NOT case-sensitive.
