On 17 March 2006, The Africana Studies Group and The Institute for Research on the African Diaspora in the Americas and the Caribbean held the all day conference “Any enemy of the Black man is the enemy of me: Departures and Definitions of Afro-Latino Identity in the New Millennium" at The Graduate School and University Center of The City University of New York. This site houses important information and many works from this conference.
