Submissions Data for 2012
In 2012 Comparative Politics received 265 manuscripts, of which 81 percent were sent to external peer readers for review and 19 percent were rejected in-house. The average time of the review process, from submission to decision, was 79 days. The Editorial Committee accepted for publication 10 percent of submissions, and invited resubmissions of revised manuscripts for a second round of external peer review of another 10 percent of submissions. The Editorial Committee gratefully acknowledges the support and assistance of 407 colleagues who served as external reviewers in 2012.
