Monique Whitaker is our first Meyer
Kripke Fellow. Monique received her BA (Hons) and MA from the University
of Cape Town, South Africa. Her MA thesis focussed on the Disquotational Principle in "A Puzzle about Belief."
She is currently a student in the PhD Program in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center. Her research interests include the semantics and pragmatics of conditionals and the metaphysics of modality.

Ben Phillips received his BA (Hons), BSc and MPhil from the University of Sydney. His MPhil thesis was on the metaphysics of modality, focusing on the debate between the modal realist and the ersatzist. Ben is currently a student in the PhD Program in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center. His research interests include the metaphysics of modality, various issues in metametaphysics, and theories of intentionality. Ben's paper,
Modified Occam's Razor, is forthcoming in the
Australasian Journal of Philosophy.

Jian (Gill) Shen received his LLB from the University of Hong Kong and MPhil from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently a student in the PhD program in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center. His research interests include metasemantics, theories of intentionality and issues relating to evolutionary biology. His MPhil thesis defended anti-realism about semantic facts and a fictionalist construal of semantic discourse.
