Luxembourg Income Study Center Mission
Our mission is to bring the resources of LIS to the CUNY Graduate Center for the benefit of students and faculty alike.
We aim to achieve our mission by:
- facilitating comparative research projects that draw on LIS data
- supporting curricular development for a credit course (cross-listed in the Political Science, Sociology and Economics programs) on how to use and interpret the LIS data
- offering periodic seminars and symposia to the GC community to disseminate the findings of LIS-related research
The LIS Center welcomes the opportunity to engage in collaborative projects with other University Centers.
